Roadmap to the Rapture and the End of the World: Finally: A Biblical View of the Rapture

by Kire Cree

This book was written for those who don’t have a deep biblical knowledge with respect to the events that will lead to the end of the word and for those who have a more in depth knowledge. It seems that many people sense that something is wrong or out of balance in the world today. The internet is full of those selling doom and gloom, some using the dark prophecies of various cultures and religions or the texts of assorted mystics. However, what does the bible say about the state of the world and what it will be like as we approach the end? With this book I hope to provide a biblical presentation of the topic. I hope that you enjoy it. I have tried to make this a very concise and informative book for you....

Genesis One Unlocked: How Biblical Hebrew Reveals Secrets Lost in Translation

by Sam Kneller

Genesis One Unlocked. How Biblical Hebrew Reveals Secrets Lost in Translation.Get the answers to the major questions about contemporary life in Genesis 1. The origin and equality of male and female. Are humans related to animals? The origin and goals of marriage. Why humans are on Earth. How it appears only Earth has the resources to support billions of humans. The first chapter of the Bible reveals secrets science and philosophy have pondered over since time immemorial. You cannot find complete answers to these queries in English or any other translation of the Bible. Not because there’s a hidden code in the Bible. But because Biblical Hebrew, like a goldmine, holds great amounts of precious metal that has to be extracted. Just reading it in English is like taking a stroll over a precio...

Angels Tell Parables for Today: 1985 Parables

by A. Ray Elkins

Our most popular book was published in 1982. People loved reading the parables so much both printings sold out. (You probably won't find it on Amazon.com). But now, for the first time, the collection of parables the spiritual messengers of God spoke in 1985 is printed here, and beautifully illustrated.

The Parables for Today was a beautiful writing, transcribed from words spoken directly by spiritual messengers of God to you. First published in 1982, it has 142 parables – each given to bring man closer to God.

In this 3rd edition in 2015, Angels Tell Parables for Today as they speak prophetically in loving stories from the heart. From 1970 to 1989, when the spiritual messengers of God came and spoke through the sleeping prophet, Ray Elkins, they would often beg...

Conflicted Identities: The Jewish Cardinal and the Jesus Believing Orthodox Rabbi

by Bejarano Gutierrez, Juan Marcos

In 2006, I was attending several week-long classes at the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership in Chicago. One of the classes was titled “Who is a Jew?” and was taught by my doctoral advisor, Rabbi Dr. Byron Sherwin, of blessed memory. The course discussed biblical, rabbinic, medieval, and modern perspectives on the question. As Rabbi Sherwin was accustomed to doing, he typically included unusual cases for us to consider. Decades before, a student at the Spertus Institute had stirred some controversy. According to Rabbi Sherwin, the person had been an exemplary student. He excelled in all his course material. There was one issue, however. Unbeknownst to his fellow students or teachers, the student was the leader of a Messianic Jewish congregation in the Chicago area. H...

Life of Noah (The Bible for Aliens Book 2)

by Adrian Pelzer

What were familiar Bible characters like before they became known for doing epic deeds and having epically long, white beards? In this second volume of The Bible for Aliens, you can imagine that, had their day been somewhat like ours, Noah might have played a computer game called “Boatcraft,” that Jacob could have been on the school wrestling team, and that Abraham may have fallen afoul of social services. Characters in the Bible were just like many of us—flawed but hungering for purpose, having faith in God but not always going about things in conventional ways. Welcome, aliens, to Volume 2, with more to follow!

Judaism and the Art of Paragliding: A Unique Spiritual Odyssey

by Rabbi David Samson

“I was in the middle of a discussion on the subject of "Progress" with a group of college students when a beautifully-colored parachute appeared in the sky. The bright orange canopy jutted out against the serene background of green mountains and blue sky. It struck me as rather fanciful, seeing a parachute in the middle of the Alps. It hovered over the valley, as if floating on a cloud of air, freed from all fetters of Mother Earth.”Thus begins JUDAISM AND THE ART OF PARAGLIDING, a Jerusalem rabbi’s unique spiritual odyssey that puts Judaism in an altogether refreshing new light. As strange as it may seem, paragliding and Judaism have many things in common. For one thing, they both teach you how to fly. Every person can achieve greater personal fulfillment and soaring new spiritual ...

Of Heaven and Hell

by Steve Preston

This book is not specifically a religious book, however, due to the subject, major portions of the book have derived data from a wide variety of ancient works associated with various religions with the majority being from Judeo-Christian sources and the Bible. To insure reasonableness, the book is tested by scientific research, theory, and Law as well as a wealth of historical documentation. If you simply believe Heaven and Hell don’t exist because you can’t see either of them and you feel that when your body dies, you don’t exist anymore; this book may answer some questions that still keep bugging you. If you believe there is a heaven but no hell, just think about the rules of our universe. Everything must have balance. Just as there is a conservation of Mass and Energy that run our...

NEPHILIM: The Myth of the Fallen (Graduate Exegesis: Genesis (6:1-4))

by Elegwen O'Maoileoin

This book consists of an exegesis, or interpretation, of the verses 1-4 in chapter 6 of Genesis. Titled by Brueggemann as the "Sons of God and Daughters of Men," this pericope is one of the more peculiar ones found in the Torah texts. Some have thought that the text was composed as a prologue to give a reason for the flood, since it is a story of wrongdoing. While the consensus seems to agree that the verses represent Near Eastern mythological motifs, some believe that the fourth verse text was entirely inserted into the Genesis text. As Brueggemann observes, "6:1-4 has no connection with chapter 5 or any of the preceding material." The text holds great curiosity, however, beyond this compositional and locational issue. It is one of two texts that refer to the Nephilim, (the other is Num. ...

Burning Bushes Everywhere: About the God who was, is and will be

by Guinevere Grier

Bible stories from the Torah and the Gospels are sequenced and summarized in a picture book for all ages. More than 4000 years ago a message about the kingdom of God was introduced through the Hebrew people.  More than 2000 years later the concept of the kingdom of God shifted due to the teachings of Jesus in the first century CE.  This book shows how thoroughly grounded in Jewish traditions the Judeo Christian communities originally were.  Additional information from contemporary studies clarify biblical texts using a discovery-oriented approach. Questions reframe the idea of where a seeker might find God.  Is the kingdom of God a place or a state of mind?...

Is the Bible Henotheistic?

by Christopher M. Nilsson

This ebook provides an almost unconventional examination of various verses and texts throughout scripture. It examines whether or not all parts of the biblical text are consistent with monotheism and encourages readers to draw their own conclusions based on both evidence from the Bible and from archaeology. It asks such questions as:Is the biblical text consistent in its monotheistic overtones? Which ancient Near Eastern cultures may have had an influence on Old Testament writings? Was circumcision first introduced into Canaan by the Egyptians? What linguistic ties did Hebrews have with other Canaanite people? Who was El Shaddai to the Canaanites? Was there a Heavenly Mother or (in other words) was God believed to have had a wife by the ancient Hebrews? These questions and more will be exa...

Confucianisms for a Changing World Cultural Order (Confucian Cultures)

by Roger T. Ames

In a single generation, the rise of Asia has precipitated a dramatic sea change in the world’s economic and political orders. This reconfiguration is taking place amidst a host of deepening global predicaments, including climate change, migration, increasing inequalities of wealth and opportunity, that cannot be resolved by purely technical means or by seeking recourse in a liberalism that has of late proven to be less than effective. The present work critically explores how the pan-Asian phenomenon of Confucianism offers alternative values and depths of ethical commitment that cross national and cultural boundaries to provide a new response to these challenges. When searching for resources to respond to the world’s problems, we tend to look to those that are most familiar: Single acto...

TRIBULATION TIMELINE

by MICHAEL HALLER

I recently came across the ancient Book of 2 Baruk, which appears to give a timeline of the tribulation period. Therefore, counting backwards from the Fall of 2029, I have created a timeline of a twelve (12) year tribulation period as described by 2 Baruk. I would also like to mention that this tribulation “timeline” of Baruk appears to track closely with the sequence of end-time events outlined by Jesus in the Book of Matthew Chapter 24, when Jesus talks about the events preceding His second coming, and it is also similar to events outlined in the Book of Revelation. The LORD tells Baruk that the time of tribulation is divided into twelve (12) parts. Baruk had asked God how many “years” that the tribulation would last and God tells him it is divided into twelve “parts”…Could...

As the Chinese empire was crumbling, Confucius used his erudition and great wisdom to establish order amidst the political and social chaos. He believed in the integrity of law and tradition, and that inner knowledge had to be activated so that virtue, order, and harmony could be suffused into society. WITITB?: Christianized Superstitions, Hyperspiritual Activities, and Spiritualized Busywork

by Audie Thacker

"WITITB?" simply stands for the question "Where is that in the Bible?" It's a question I've asked many times in reading and listening to some of what passes today for Christian teaching.

In the biblical book of Acts, the believers at the city of Berea were commended for checking in the Scriptures to verify that what the Apostle Paul was teaching them was true. This book is an attempt on my part to follow the example of the Bereans, to put this question to some things that are being taught by a few different Christian leaders.

This book, then, is a critical look at what some in the church are teaching. As such, an equally critical mindset is expected of anyone who cares to read it....

The Tribulations of Israel: Samuel Usque and His Consolations

by Bejarano Gutierrez, Juan Marcos

The 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries saw the systematic dismantling of Jewish life in the Iberian Peninsula that had existed for more than a thousand years. Persecution spurred forced conversions. Dissimulation by Jews who converted under duress led to the establishment of the Spanish and later Portuguese Inquisitions. The failure of the Inquisition ultimately led to the decision by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella to exile Jews from their domains. But many Jews remained. Samuel Usque was a forced convert who managed to escape the Peninsula. He wrote a remarkable work, probably the most expansive by any former Converso, with the hope of persuading his fellow Conversos to flee the Peninsula and return openly to Judaism and the faith of their fathers. For Usque, the latest tragedies experienc...

Criminals Behind the Pulpit

With a deep sense of responsibility, ‘Criminals Behind the Pulpit’ dispassionately deals with certain fundamental truths in the Church contrasting them with certain false doctrines that derail the faith of many. It raises issues about false prophets parading themselves as ministers of the Gospel, exposing their character and practices. The book also details what it means to be a true leader in the Body of Christ; and for every Christian it discusses the ‘Works of the Flesh’ and the ‘Fruit of the Spirit’, encouraging everyone to grow in grace and knowledge of the truth so as to be fruitful and effective in their life of faith.Speaking on the differences between the Old and New Covenants, it aims to help believers understand vital aspects of the faith that will help them to sift ...

Sword of Peace: A Journey From Fear to Faith (Sword of Münster Series Book 1)

by Louisa M Bauman

What is the secret of the hidden meetings, which are held in the woods at night? Anna had hoped to escape the violence of the Reformation when she moved to Amsterdam. But now, in November 1531, Charles V has sent his Spanish officials to this ‘nest of heretics’ in the Netherlands, determined to rid his empire of all those who refuse to attend the state church. The obstinate shall be executed unless they swear allegiance to the Holy Roman Emperor and the Catholic church, and citizens must report any disloyal activity they notice or suffer the same fate. But Anna can hardly betray Maeyken, her only friend in Amsterdam. The last thing Anna will do is listen to the Anabaptists, let alone join the traitorous sect! If Charles V succeeds, the Anabaptists will be annihilated. Especially the l...

The Moctezuman: A SciFi Horror Comedy (Lunch Reads Book 1)

by E.C. Stever

"It's The Martian meets The Evil Dead... at the end of the Aztec Empire." A new prehistoric scifi horror from an Ancient Alien visitor. I wish he'd hurry up and sacrifice me, like I planned it. Otherwise I might die in this dank temple. But here he stands, nephew to the emperor of a quarter-million Aztec warriors, and Moctezuma does the one thing I don't want: he waits. I've been locked up on this planet too long. If I don't get home soon, I'll be one dead alien. All I really need is for Moctezuma to drag me up to the altar, pluck out my beating heart, maybe coat his forearms with my blood if he has time. Is that so much to ask? I wonder...Maybe Moctezuma knows what I really am. I mean, I look human. At least I think I got all the head-holes in the right places. But what if Moctezum...

TRUE LEADERSHIP: LEADERSHIP (CHRISTIAN EMPOWERMENT Book 7)

The Metaphysics of Monotheism

by Ethan Indigo Smith

If it's for you, you probably know by now. Advice for the next prophet is an esoteric and occult exploration of God, spirituality and monotheism. Do not read this if you are not the prophet or a seeker. If you are a believer and not a seeker do not read this. Believers have stopped seeking and this is for seekers. It is arguably written for one person, but it's written in a way that will help the one person raise up every person, every seeker. One love....

Is it possible that the opening verses of the Bible contain the mystery of the ages? This book explores the remarkable theory that God outlined a six thousand year historical timeline in the Creation account, and then confirmed it throughout the rest of Scripture. The parallels and evidence presented in this work are truly fascinating. This book offers one of the most compelling views of the end times that has been published to date. It is a must read for anyone interested in eschatology, Biblical numerology or the second coming....
