The Apocalyptic Timeline in the Book of Revelation: Volume 2: Trumpets

by Andronicus Johnson

When will World War III take place? Revelation 9:15 says, "the four angels were loosed...to slay the third part of men." Will you be part of the third? This book identifies the sealing of the 144,000 Israelites, a great multitude, and the seven trumpets. Authors Johnson, Lee, and Stephen reveal: We are living in the latter trumpet era; The 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill that happened in America was the fifth trumpet; The sixth trumpet-World War III-is imminent; Afterward, the Seven-Year Treaty will be confirmed just as Revelation 10 prophesied; Then, only seven years remain until the end of this world; The Antichrist-to-be is already present, possibly behind the world stage; Not much time is left until the last (7th) trumpet-the rapture. Therefore, "look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh" (Luke 21:28).

Reading Genesis 1 in Hebrew: Grammar, mnemonics and more!

by Carl Ranns

Learn Biblical Hebrew in Months, Not Years!Did you ever want to read the book of Genesis in the original Hebrew? There are two main stages to learning a language: the first stage of rote learning the basics before moving onto the second stage of learning through exposure to the real language. The former is an arduous, thankless task that should be completed as quickly as possible. In the second stage, the learner experiences joy and wonder as everything comes together and starts to make sense, stimulating the brain's pleasure and reward circuits. Unfortunately, the way Biblical Hebrew is conventionally taught leaves learners stuck in the first stage, drearily rote learning all the different verb paradigms with minimal exposure to real readings. We learn best by making associations between new knowledge and what we already know. By starting to read as soon as possible, we can see the same principles at work in different situations while constantly revisiting what we have already learned.Did you know:Genesis 1 contains 93 verbs in the most basic stem, the qal, most of which are in the 3rd person masculine singular? It also contains 3 verbs in the piel? There are 12 verbs in the hiphil, as well as 2 verbs in the niphal? These four stems are the most common and once mastered, the other stems are much easier to learn?Additionally:This book presents multiple strategies for learning the verb forms.I-yodh and hollow roots are represented in both nouns and verbs in Genesis 1, enabling you to see the same principles at work in different word classes.Irregularities are explained in terms of regular, recurring principles.Every word in Genesis 1 is analyzed and every verb picked apart.A basic introductory grammar is provided with extra grammar points interspersed throughout the reading section.Complete transliteration of Genesis 1 is provided. The older Paleo-Hebrew alphabet is presented.Genesis 1 is shown in the Paleo-Hebrew and Samaritan scripts. If you want to finally get off the paradigm hamster wheel and actually start reading, then you have two choices. You can spend days and weeks poring through grammars and reference books to get to the bottom of all the irregularities and archaic forms in Genesis 1, or you can save yourself a ton of work and get a head start on reading by clicking on the Buy Now button!About the authorA linguist by profession and passion, he has been translating Chinese, Japanese and Korean for over 15 years and has worked for well-known multi-national companies and international organizations. With a knack for language learning and a love of dead languages, he is your ideal guide for navigating the waters of Genesis.

Burning Bushes Everywhere: About the God who was, is and will be

by Guinevere Grier

Bible stories from the Torah and the Gospels are sequenced and summarized in a picture book for all ages. More than 4000 years ago a message about the kingdom of God was introduced through the Hebrew people.  More than 2000 years later the concept of the kingdom of God shifted due to the teachings of Jesus in the first century CE.  This book shows how thoroughly grounded in Jewish traditions the Judeo Christian communities originally were.  Additional information from contemporary studies clarify biblical texts using a discovery-oriented approach. Questions reframe the idea of where a seeker might find God.  Is the kingdom of God a place or a state of mind?

The Book of Revelation:: A Clearer Understanding

by Vivian G Harriman

“The Book of Revelation: A Clearer Understanding” is the result of the author’s frustration with so-called experts and religious organizations that claim to “know” what the visions in the Book of Revelation are actually predicting. Many of their “predictions” are grossly taken out of context and have no relevant biblical, archeological or historic backing. Some are created to fit either a specific agenda, theological dogma or an individual’s personal bias. Some are simply misinterpretations and misunderstandings – and much of Revelation may forever remain a mystery. In this book the author, Vivian G. Harriman, clearly states, “I am not a prophet.” She presents the entire text of Revelation in an easy-to-read format. Then, using citations from both the old and new testaments, she includes a glossary of prophetic symbolism (with “quick links” in the main text) for the reader’s reference. “It is up to the reader to interpret the significance of it all!”

Faith Lives in Our Actions: God's message in James chapter 2

by David Sellnow

Faith is something that exists in the heart ... but at the same time, faith can be seen. Faith lives in our actions -- that is the message of James chapter 2. James, who was a brother of Jesus and a key leader of the early church, warned that faith is dead if it is not showing itself in works. James' letter to early Christians offered examples and instruction concerning what a life of faith will look like. He described the sorts attitudes and activities that will flow from being connected to Jesus Christ. In this book, the author looks at the words of James from the first century and provides fitting commentary for members of churches in the present day. You'll find contemporary examples and inspirational anecdotes to encourage you in your own active life of faith.

Why Revival Tarries: A Prophetic Message for Today

by Matthew Robert Payne

For decades, many prophetic words have been released, promising revival to the world. Some of these declarations even include numbers, such as “the billion-soul revival.” Most Christians firmly believe that these prophecies are accurate, so they sit back and wait for the coming revival, praying that it will happen soon. But what if we need to do much more than just wait and pray? In Why Revival Tarries, Matthew Robert Payne addresses possible reasons for the delay of the coming revival. But rest assured, you will be surprised at the reasons he lists. Hint: This delay has nothing to do with the unsaved. After listing some of these reasons, this powerful and convicting book wraps up with a word from Jesus and a word from God the Father for the reader. So fasten your seat belt and hang on tight! Prepare for a wild ride and enjoy the journey!

Blunt's Scriptural Coincidences: Gospels and Acts

by John J Blunt

This book will confirm (or restore) your faith in the Gospel records. Clearly the Gospels were not invented. There is too much unintentional agreement between them for this to be so. Undesigned coincidences are where writers tell the same account, but from a different viewpoint. Without conspiring together to get their accounts in agreement, they include unexpected (and often unnoticed) details that corroborate their records. Not only are these unexpected coincidences found within the Gospels, but sometimes a historical writer unknowingly and unintentionally confirms the Bible record.Within these pages you will see just how accurate were the memories of the Gospel writers -- even of the smallest details which on casual reading can seem of little importance, yet clearly point to eyewitness accounts. J.J. Blunt spent many years investigating these coincidences. And here they are, as found in the four Gospels and Acts.

Ears to Hear: A Guide for the Interpretation of the Bible

by William H. Lawson

Christians often struggle to hear God speak through the Bible. Even Christian ministers often do not understand the message of the Bible. The problem in part is that sound principles and methods for interpreting the Bible are not known or practiced. Instead, everyone does what is right in his or her own eyes. The purpose of this guide is to provide principles, methods, and procedures for Christians as they seek to hear God speak through the Bible and ministers as they study the Bible, apply the message of the Bible to the modern context, and communicate the message of the Bible to those who need a word from God.This guide is primarily an introductory textbook to biblical interpretation. However, this guide serves two other functions as well. It is a handbook to the tasks of biblical interpretation. Use this guide as a reference whenever you are uncertain about a method or procedure. It can also be used as a teacher’s guide for instructing others how to interpret the Bible.Unit one provides some guidance for preparing to do biblical interpretation. Units two through four introduce methods and procedures for studying the Bible and determining its original message. Unit five introduces a method and procedures for applying the message of the Bible to contemporary situations. Unit six introduces a method and procedures for preparing sermons and Bible studies that effectively communicate the message of the Bible to modern audiences. About the Author:William H. (Bill) Lawson received a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from theSouthern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He taughtbriefly at SBTS and has taught the Bible at seminaries in Asia for over 30 years. He is now retired and is writing books and painting/drawing pictures. He has written other books including: Obedientunto Death: A Guide for the Interpretation of Paul’s Epistle to thePhilippians and The Lion Roars from Zion: A Guide for the Interpretationof the Book of Amos.

Elias y Eliseo: El Manto para el Pueblo de Dios

by Martin Stendal

BELIEVE & KNOW (LifeSword Bible study Book 2)

by Cathy Bryant

From the author of the beloved Miller's Creek novels (Christian fiction), comes this Bible study guide about how to protect and defend Christian faith. Each human being--on their journey and search for truth--must at some point reflect on life and answer important questions. Why am I here? Is there life beyond life as I now know it? How did the universe and man come into existence, and how does the answer affect me? In addition, each person must then make life or death decisions on the truth they uncover. This book addresses hard questions that accompany the search for truth. It also gives answers to win the lost and win back defectors. The Bible study guide is written for: those who struggle with faith, many times because of skewed perceptions or even anger; those who profess faith in the unseen, but find it difficult to live out; and finally those whose faith is strong, but who need information to combat the arguments and questions of others. This book addresses the following:The Danger of Unbelief - Why faith is truly a life or death matter.Proof of Intelligent Design - Evidence that exists for a Supreme Being. The Problem of Evil - The number one hang-up people have with God.Proof of Jesus as God - Jesus always claimed to be God.Proof of God's Love for Mankind - The sacrificial act all time hinges on.God's Plan for Us to Believe and Know - We don't have to wander in darkness, chaos, and confusion.Faith Matters - The case for faith in an unbelieving world. This Bible study guide was written as a companion to the spiritual theme of sharing and defending faith found in CROSSROADS, Christian fiction and the sixth stand-alone book in the Miller's Creek novels.WHAT READERS ARE SAYING:"Whether you are searching, a new believer, or someone who has been walking with the Lord for awhile, this Bible study is for you. I found much meat and food for thought as I worked through this Bible Study. Cathy's insights and applications were most helpful. If you are looking for a Bible study to help you grow or to help you share, this is for you!!! Highly recommend this study to one and all.""This Bible study is good for both non-believers and believers. For Christians, the topics covered in this book will challenge us to be more faith-living and prepare us to explain our beliefs to those searching. The section, Bible Study Suggestions, provides excellent directions for getting the most from your reading.""I would encourage you to get and read this book. Study it. Use it to help you reach out to those who don’t know the Lord.""Do you know what you believe and why you believe it? Can you defend your beliefs if someone questions you? We are admonished by Paul to always be ready to answer for our faith, but I know many times I am intimidated to stand. In this Bible study, Cathy Bryant gives us the tools that can help us be prepared to explain our faith in God. Backed by Scripture and accompanied with thought provoking questions, this study will help you get grounded in the Word so you can talk to others about your own personal walk with God, the creator of the universe."CATEGORIESReligionBiblical GuidesBible StudiesBible Study GuidesEducationWomen's Bible StudiesWomen's Bible Study GuidesBible Study for WomenBible Studies for WomenFaith Bible StudyBible Study on the Defense of FaithBible Study for Christian LivingBible Study for Small GroupsBible Studies for CouplesHow To Share Your FaithHow To Defend Your FaithHow To Believe in GodHow To Find Assurance for Your FaithHow To Live Out Your FaithChristian Bible StudyChristian Bible Study for WomenChristian Bible Study for Small GroupsChristian Bible Study BooksApologeticsSpiritual WarfareSpiritual GrowthSocial IssuesPersonal GrowthWomen's Christian Living

The Unquenchable Life: What the Apostles Teach Us About Victorious Christian Living

by Russell M. Stendal

The book of Acts presents the epic explosion of the gospel after the Lord Jesus Christ returned to heaven to sit at the right hand of God. The apostles received the Holy Spirit with real, visible, and powerful results. There was none of today's straining to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit, or of "practicing" the gifts. Instead, the move of the Holy Spirit was a vivid demonstration of great power and wonders, and people were forced to either embrace the gospel or reject it completely. So clearly was the line being drawn, that once, only a single sentence was uttered by the apostle Paul before he was struck on the mouth by his enemy. So sure was the apostle Paul of his calling that not only did he not fear death for the sake of Christ, but he actually pressed forward into situations where death was the predicted result. In this study of Acts chapters 8 through 28, Russell Stendal analyzes the prerequisites and condition of the apostles before this all could take place. He expounds on the need to have a genuinely clean heart in order to do what the Lord wants to do that is over and above what seems right to us. Stendal provides the definition of names of people and places to reveal deeper truths behind all that was taking place, and he clarifies often-controversial portions of this important book of the Bible. Are you ready to have the line drawn in the sand of your life?About the AuthorRussell Stendal, a former hostage of Colombian rebels, is a lifelong missionary to that same group in the jungles of Colombia. He is an influential friend to military and government leaders in Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, and the United States. Russell’s ministry shares the gospel via twelve radio stations, hundreds of thousands of Bibles, books, and movies distributed through airplane parachute drops, and numerous speaking engagements for groups of leaders, prisoners, and individuals. Russell goes wherever the Lord leads, whether it’s to speak with a president or to go deep into the jungle to help an individual in trouble. He has witnessed thousands commit their lives to Christ.

Daily Devotions from the Book of Psalms

by James Thomas Lee Jr

Two of the books of the scriptures that should be studied daily are the book of Proverbs and the book of Psalms. The book of Proverbs will show one how to be biblically wise in the things of the Lord. That book is primarily for spiritual guidance in this existence. But even an ungodly person will prosper by studying and incorporating its principles. In the same sense, the book of Psalms will also benefit anyone that studies it on a regular basis. Most of the psalms had been written by David. However, quite a few of them had been written by people that had been experiencing the seventy-year captivity of the children of Israel in Babylon. The reason that the psalms are so valuable to everyday saints of the Lord is because they are experiential. One can read exactly how David had felt while he had been running from a king that had wanted to kill him. One can read about some of the saints at a time when they had been held against their will in a foreign land. Because the Bible is an honest book, the reader of the psalms can also sometimes read that the psalmists had actually wanted their enemies to be destroyed. But one can then read about how they had trusted the Lord even as everything around them had been falling down.

That is why the book of Psalms is so valuable. By reading about the everyday struggles of others and how the Lord had gotten them through, a person can draw the same conclusions within his or her own life. The message of the psalms is simply to trust the Lord and to live for Him no matter what. If life is going well, then trust the Lord and live for Him. If life is not going so well, then trust the Lord and live for Him. Within the one hundred and fifty psalms, one can read over and over about how the saints of God had looked to the Lord for help when times had been tough. But one can read that they had also been very quick to praise Him in good times as well as in bad times. Thus, another theme of the psalms is to praise the Lord always and in many different ways. Nine different Hebrew words have been used in the Old Testament to describe ways that one can praise the Lord. Many of them have been used in the psalms. Therefore, without getting into all of the technical complexities of the Hebrew language, they have been identified in this text for the applicable psalms.

Another feature of this text as with my other devotion books is that all of the devotion titles have been grouped together in the index along with the date of the respective devotion. That way, those titles can serve as a topical index into each of the daily devotions in the event that someone is looking for a devotion about a specific topic or about a specific person. One might also note that an appendix about true biblical salvation has also been included at the end of this text for anyone that might be interested. It is important to realize that the authors of the psalms had been real human beings with real human problems and struggles just like most people. Therefore, may the Lord be pleased by this work and also with each person that sincerely tries to draw closer to Him.
